The vision panel provides the means of vision, safe from ballistic or physical attack, into or out from a secure area.Available in two forms - with or without two-way electronic speech transmission - it can be fitted to internal or external walls or security doors and is ideal for use with a bulk transfer unit. The VP45 offers all the facilities of the standard vision panl (VP 44) with the added advantage of two-way electronic speech transmission enabling voice communication between the secure area and the outside. The speech equipment is housed in a vandal-resistant compartment below the glass.The integral microphone and loudspeaker on the public side are protected by a steel mesh whilst the secure side is fitted with a speaker and microphone on a flexible stem (gooseneck). An anti-vandal call button on the public side is connected to a sounder installed with the audio vision panel.
