Killby & Gayford were contracted to carry out the internal adaptions in this Grade I listed building. The project brief was to re-establish the buildings original appearance whilst upgrading the facilities.

The Works included:

  • Installation of Platform lift within new lift shaft.
  • Interior joinery works including hardwood screens, windows, furniture and doors.
  • Internal redecoration and floor finishes.
  • Major upgrade of electrical and IT facilities concealed within the building fabric.
  • The challenge for the team was to deliver the project whilst minimising disruption to the operation of the court service despite the scope of works increasing greatly during the course of the project.
