Killby & Gayford were contracted to erect a new two storey building and basement to form a new sterile services department, operating theatre, endoscopy suite, consulting rooms, changing and WC facilities, patient’s ward and plant areas.

Works included:

  • Boring and casting of contiguous piled retaining wall and perimeter load bearing piles.
  • Excavation of new 3m deep basement.
  • Casting of in-situ concrete slab with waterproofing measures.
  • Erection of steel frame structure with hollow-core, pre-cast, floor planks and Sarnafil roof coverings.
  • Construction of internal blockwork walls with plaster finishes throughout.
