This existing registered care facility for the Roman Catholic community, the Society of the Sacred Heart, has been extended to form additional facilities for the frail and elderly.

Killby & Gayford was contracted to refurbish this former convent to form a high specification, modern living space and care facility, including:

  • Extensive refurbishment programme.
  • Part demolition of existing buildings to make way for two new wings.
  • New build to form a low rise, single storey construction connecting to adjoining buildings.
  • Additional accommodation, in the form of high visibility rooms, to be created for residents.
