The Place Dance Studio

Killby & Gayford has undertaken an extension project at The Place, WC1 to form two new dance studios.

The project includes:

  • Stripping out the existing second floor and partially removing the roof.
  • Constructing central plenum as air conditioning shaft.
  • Construction of two new dance studios with timber sprung floors.
  • Replacement of M&E on roof.
  • New steel staircase and external escape ladders.
  • Installation of Metsec structural frames for external walls and roof.
